Soon, Portuguese pharmacies will receive the first cannabis-based substance for medicinal purposes. The flower is produced in Portugal by the Canadian Tilray, which has a cannabis plant in Cantanhede, Coimbra.
According to the Correio da Manhã (CM), the revenues of this company, worldwide, skyrocketed 26% last year, compared to 2019, exceeding 176 million euros. Also in Portugal, the medical cannabis business generates hundreds of millions of euros.
